These are just a few examples of how you can invest as a digital nomad. It’s important to carefully research and evaluate your investment options and to consult with a financial advisor or professional before making any investment decisions. I’ve been working remote for the License to lift shirt besides I will buy this last maybe 2 years for the most part. I graduated and left the States in May, lived in NYC and Las Vegas for a few months, and I’ve been roaming around a bit with my new home base being Barcelona, Spain. I’m extremely happy. At 22 and with my family in four countries, I think this is a perfect situation and I want to ride this wave as long as possible. I work probably 30% more than my friends with “jobs” (like 9–5, one office jobs). It’s exhausting. I have clients in various time zones that keep my schedule very interesting. There are nights I’m taking calls into the morning and mornings where I’m at the cafe before it opens and before the sun rises. Traveling also adds another layer of coordinating and exhaustion to the mix. My income is dependent on my hustle and what I put in. I’ve had great times and incredibly hard times. But I like that part. My work is personal and important to me.
At 22, I can do it. I don’t have major responsibilities right now and I can put in the License to lift shirt besides I will buy this work. For the experience, for me, it’s absolutely worth the effort. I’ve been living all over the world and working remotely for the past 2 years! The shot above is from the time I was working out of Gili Trawangan in Indonesia (honestly, it wasn’t as idyllic as it looks…). Not in a sense of creating new industries, but making it tough for themselves by trying to reinvent their own way of generating money. The likelihood is that you already do something professionally or in your free time that could translate to a digitally nomadic life. Especially when starting out it’s a death wish to take on a whole new career path I think (unless you have a lot of savings). I left London as a sales guy and was trying to re-invent myself. I didn’t know how, but I wanted to do something totally different. They weren’t being approached by someone who did marketing but never sold, they were being introduced to someone who could sell and who liked the idea of marketing. So my biggest piece of advice would be just that, focus on what you already know and work out how it transfers to digitally nomadic existence.
